Meet Jenn

On the day Jenn was diagnosed with ovarian cancer her son had just finished primary school. “I remember that night in the hospital” when she was first told that she had a mass, “I was transferred to another hospital, and I was told I had a 10cm tumour on my right ovary”.

While adjusting to her diagnosis, Jenn’s cancer spread into her lymph nodes. “I lost my own mother a couple of years ago… and all of a sudden I was contemplating leaving my son motherless, which was terrifying. I knew life was precious and fragile but now it was heightened”.
