Meet Jane

When Jane started to experience pain around her ovaries she certainly wasn’t expecting to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After an ultrasound, blood test and a CT scan, doctors identified a cyst and referred her to a specialist to have it removed, “There was nothing really sinister identified at that point”

And then, the phone call that she never expected to receive, “Jane, I’m really sorry to tell you, you have ovarian cancer”. Jane underwent several invasive surgeries as well as an intensive and gruelling course of chemotherapy, “It was really tough. But that strengthened me, I felt the strength for my children and family to continue on.”
