In celebration of our first Activewear capsule, we teamed up with Catherine, yoga
enthusiast and friend of Black Pepper, to talk all things personal growth,
practising yoga, and (of course!) the new range.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself?
Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 30 years, and my practice has helped me
grow stronger, more flexible and more confident, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires
me to live each moment more mindfully, compassionately and gently.
2. What led you into starting yoga?
In the early 90’s I was living in Mallorca Spain and enrolled in an English speaking
weekend yoga intensive that was conducted in a 400 year old convent by a very sweet
English speaking Swede. It was a simple introduction to yoga that to led to profound
personal growth and insights. From that weekend I began practicing Yoga every day
3. What do you love most about your classes?
In my classes, I like to combine creative sequencing and foster a heartfelt connection
to the self as we move and breathe. I seek to help others thrive by nurturing this
powerful body, mind and soul connection and my hope is that you step off the mat
feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
4. What do you love most about the new Black Pepper Active range?
When I’m doing yoga, I value clothing that moves with me into every yoga shape
and twist. The new Black Pepper range of active wear offers great comfort in
every yoga pose.
5. What’s your top pick from the range?
My favourite outfit is the navy-blue full-length pant with the handy phone pocket on
the side for post yoga shopping and exercise. I also love how easy this range is to wash
and how beautifully it holds its shape.
